Explore the New Manufacturing is pleased to release the Linsly School’s video submission in the Northern Region What’s So Cool About Manufacturing? Student Video Contest.  The Linsly video showcases the plastic bottles and shakers produced by Silgan Plastics, located in Triadelphia, West Virginia.

Brooke Middle School and The Fiesta Tableware Company team up for the West Virginia What’s So Cool About Manufacturing? Student Video Contest

WHEELING, March 30, 2022 – Explore the New Manufacturing is pleased to release the Brooke Middle School’s video submission in the Northern Region What’s So Cool About Manufacturing? Student Video Contest.  The video showcases the dinnerware produced by the Fiesta Tableware Company, located in Newell, West Virginia.

Carver CTE Students Complete Manufacturing Innovation Challenge with NGK Spark Plugs USA, Inc.

Explore the New Manufacturing is pleased to announce the completion of a Manufacturing Innovation Challenge involving Integrated Production Technology students from the Carver Career & Technical Education Center and NGK Spark Plugs USA, Inc. The challenge required the students to develop a solution to help increase productivity and improve performance efficiency in a production process for an air sensor manufactured at the Sissonville, WV facility.  The challenge is hosted by Explore the New Manufacturing, an educational outreach program designed to provide West Virginia middle and high school students with topics focusing on manufacturing career pathways.

Fayette Institute of Technology Students Complete Manufacturing Innovation Challenge with Conn-Weld Industries, LLC.

Explore the New Manufacturing is pleased to announce the completion of a Manufacturing Innovation Challenge involving Pre-engineering students from the Fayette Institute of Technology (FIT) and Conn-Weld Industries, LLC. The challenge required to create a 3D Model printed model of an 8’ x 20’ Triple Deck Circular Motion Incline components and assemble.  The challenge is hosted by Explore the New Manufacturing, an educational outreach program designed to provide West Virginia middle and high school students with topics focusing on manufacturing career pathways.
