The West Virginia Manufacturers Association Educational Fund Inc. (WVMAEF) announced today the appointment of Justin Wager to its board of directors. The WVMAEF Board of Directors oversees an educational outreach program, Explore the New Manufacturing, designed to provide West Virginia middle and high school students with topics focusing on manufacturing career pathways. “Justin’s wealth of experience in industry, education, and workforce development align well with the mission and needs of the Explore Program. We are pleased to welcome Justin to the Board and look forward to working with him in building stronger connections across sectors,” said WVMAEF’s Program Director Monica Cross.

Governor Jim Justice Issues Proclamation for West Virginia Excellence in Manufacturing Education Day
The Explore the New Manufacturing Program, in cooperation with the West Virginia Department of Education, announced the celebration of West Virginia Excellence in Manufacturing Education Day. The proclamation celebrates and recognizes students and educators across the Mountain State for their excellence and commitment to the next generation of workers in the manufacturing industry.
The West Virginia Manufacturers Association Educational Fund, Inc. is pleased to announce its publication of the Explore the New Manufacturing Annual Report 2021-2022. “The WVMAEF finished another exceptional year of raising awareness of manufacturing careers to West Virginia students, parents, and educators,” stated Bob Fehrenbacher, Board Chair for the organization. “Collaboration between educators, manufacturers, and staff ensured that insights developed into opportunities and preparations for rewarding futures.
