The Explore Program’s design and skills competition tests regional career and technical high school students to see who can fabricate the best creation using a pile of scrap manufacturing materials within a set time limit.  The students' problem solving, teamwork, and technical skills will be critical to successfully completing the challenge.  Teams are judged on their skills, innovation, safety standards, and execution during the competition.  Contests feature scrap metal or wood materials donated by local manufacturers.
